William Lightner

MARIETTA, GA, UNITED STATES, January 17, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- William Lightner has spent countless days traveling the world as an evangelist. Spreading the word of God to people has become his life goal. But he credits his education and previous work experience as the reasons for a successful career as a speaker.

Lightner attended a private Baptist school from his seventh-grade year to high school. After his early educational years in a private school, he attended Vestal High School, where he graduated with honors.

For his college education, Lightner chooses Judson University. This decision was critical to him as continuing his college education became a priority in his life.

"Judson University was an outstanding college for me because of the higher education setting and their worship of God," explains Lightner.

On to the Judson University's website, the college "equips students to be fully developed, mature persons who honor God."

University Education Molded Lightner

"The university made me into the man I am today," says Lightner. "Understanding the importance of personal relationships, but also my relationship with God was such a big part of my college experience."

Judson is base to over 1,250 pupils. This stat means the student-to-teacher ratio becomes perfect for one-on-one interaction and attention. They praise the school as being "not too big, not too small."

With more than 50 undergraduate majors available, Lightner graduated with honors with a Christian Religion and Philosophy Degree. Also, Lightner obtained Bachelor of Arts degrees in both fields of study.

To advance his college studies, Lightner attended Clarks Summit University for a Master of Arts degree in Divinity. He participated in this college following graduation from Judson University.

Called a Master of Divinity Degree (MDiv), this honor is the first professional degree in the pastoral profession in North America. Also, the degree is the general requirement for ordination to the priesthood or any involvement with the church.

Not only did Lightner work his way through college gathering degrees, but he also sought after specific certifications with the jobs he has held. These accomplishments highlighted by obtaining a Series 6 and Series 63 license as a Financial Advisor for a Wall Street investment firm. These certifications helped with his career before choosing to become a motivational speaker.

While Lightner worked hard during his college years and young adult life, he also achieved several awards along the way.

First, Lightner received a promotion in the United States Army for being a distinguished honor graduate. He gained this award for finishing first in his class.

After his military work, Lightner went on to win Top Salesman of the Year four straight fiscal years at Kirby Vacuums.

Working With Missions And Helping Followers Of God

When Lightner decided to devote his life to traveling the world as an evangelist, went with Lay Witness Mission.

"Lay Witness Mission holds a special place in my heart," says Lightner. "They got me started with speaking and traveling the world. I'm forever appreciative of the chance they gave me."

The purpose of Lay Witness Mission is to help people attempting ways to learn what it means for them to live as engaged followers of Jesus Christ. They inspire people to take time to listen and to tell God's love throughout their lives.

Lightner has spoken in front of large groups of people and helped hundreds find comfort with God.

Another opportunity while working for Lay Witness Mission is helping followers talk to others about Jesus Christ. Also, about how the good news of the Lord makes a difference in life. Lightner and the mission helped people gain faith, acknowledge fellowship, and pray with Jesus as their center of worship. All of these endeavors have helped people live a sounder life and become better followers of Jesus.

Finally, Lightner praises all of his life choices for getting him where he is today. When asked if he would change anything about these decisions, he smiles and says, "I wouldn't change a thing."
