An XL Bully has been revealed as the dog responsible for attacking a man in a back garden of a Black Country home yesterday.
The victim, aged in his 20s, remains in a critical condition in hospital following the horrific incident on Ripon Drive, in West Bromwich, after 4.30pm, on Friday, March 14.
The dog was Tasered by police officers and died at the scene.

West Midlands Police remain at the cordoned off property today, Saturday, March 15.
A police spokeswoman told BirminghamLive: "We're continuing to investigate after a man was seriously injured when he was attacked by a dog in West Bromwich.
"We were called to Ripon Drive at around 4.40pm yesterday (14 March).
"A man in his 20s was found with serious injuries and remains in a critical condition in hospital.

"The dog was Tasered by officers and died at the scene.
"Following an initial assessment the dog is believed to have been an XL Bully.
"We continue to have a police presence in the area as we seek to establish exactly what happened.
